Children of involved parents do better in school and have fewer discipline problems. From sending in Box Tops to serving on the board, the PTO offers lots of ways to get involved.

Volunteer at a fun event.
Send in Box Tops for Education.
Serve on the PTO Board.
Sign a 2-Hour Power pledge.
Help classrooms directly through Teacher Wish Lists or giving trees.

Your child should have brought home an apparel order form on Friday. We’re ordering navy and pink T-shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants with the new Super Sailor logo. Prices start at just $13 for shirts, $18 for sweatpants and $25 for sweatshirts, with a portion of each purchase going to the PTO. Orders are due May 17 for delivery June 1. You can print order forms, too, and if you have any questions.

The PTO newsletter is now being delivered only by email to save printing costs. The school district has graciously agreed to allow us to use its email notification system to send our newsletters, so please be sure the district has your email address. We'll also continue to post our newsletters on this website.

We welcome all volunteers and the time they can share. We know the thought of "one more thing to do" on an already busy schedule can be tiring. You'll be surprised at how little it takes to make a difference. Whether you can volunteer a couple hours at an event or commit to being your child's room parent, your time spent impacting the lives of children will be rewarding. Do not hesitate to contact any board members with questions.
